Wadi Rum-People

We drove from King's Highway to enter Wadi Rum. At the visitor center we met the Bedouins who run the camps and brought us to their small Bedouin village. When waiting there for their truck to pick us up to the campsite, we saw children running on the street without shoes. Later I was told that the Bedouins in this village, around 2000 people, are all relatives. A family from Saudi Arabia settled here long long ago and since then has grown numerous generations at this unique desert area.
